This is where I will post my blogs
Should the driving age change!?
No, right off the bat, This is why. first off the driving age has always been 16 and it has worked out always. Second, to post-pone the driving would stress the parents. parent would have to teach the kid to drive as he/she is going to collage as opposed to learning as a sophomore or a junior. according to rmiia.org 3,023 teens died in car crashes as apposed to adults (18 considered) 42,363 died, so if the driving age was changed people would have had more practice and less deaths. and I can almost guarantee there will be less deaths. opposing viewpoints, one comes from debate.org says, kids are too immature! The prefrontal cortex in your brain is not fully developed until they are between 18-21. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for making good decisions and reviewing thoughts before you take action. another point by mccall.com say that the use of the cellphone would raise a problem. but to rebuttal those arguments I say that is foolishness back to my original point is that the driving age throughout history has always been 16 and it has worked why would you change a good system!?!
So my final answer is..... 16 should stay!!
